親愛的弟兄姊妹們：當你們在讀這封信時，我和孩子們已在飛回美國的路上。在臺灣三週不算長、卻充實的假期，已經結束，該是收心，預備新學期的開始了。
仔細一算，距離上次回來竟然有六年之久。看見許多熟悉的面孔，靈中着實喜樂。參加了幾次主日和禱告聚會，看見各種年紀的聖徒都竭力進入這份職事，實在敬拜主。是這份職事托住我們，成為我們活命的祕訣。然而，也知道一些聖徒因着各種原因而離開召會生活，沒能一同奔跑到路終，心中為他們極其憂傷。但願主恢復我們愛人的心並尋找的靈，使我們能更深經歷約翰二十一章十五到十七節。
當然，最使我喜樂的就是看到許許多多的新面孔，包括許多聖徒的下一代；我赴美前還在地上爬的，現在都要上大學了。創世記五章亞當的家譜沒有記載人的作為和活動，只記載他們的活和生。照樣，今天信徒在屬靈方面也應該活和生，使神得着繁增，好藉着召會完成神的定旨。日近一日，終點已然在望。我們真需要彼此激勵，實化我們所聽見並所傳講的，活得健康，活得喜樂，活得滿了盼望，活得滿了三一神的彰顯，使召會生活生生不息，何等美，何等善！
真不知下次再相聚是為何時，但心中卻不覺憂傷；因為我們都是在基督的身體裏，自然沒有離開或是回來。我們不論到何地，若是在召會生活中，都是回到了家。
要真誠的，再次謝謝弟兄姊妹們，這三週在愛裏不斷的供應和交通，能記得的有卓爸、卓媽請吃飯，子涵姊妹幫忙購買的泳票，紀姊妹提供的旅遊資料，艾倫、俊佑一家，瑞珍、玉銘一家，明葶姊妹一家，曹弟兄一家先後來訪用飯交通，還有秋霞姊妹的愛心服事以及可愛的東山二排寶貝的聖徒們。
願主親自報答你們。也歡迎弟兄姊妹到維州與我們相調，見證基督身體的豐富。（維州登樂靈Dunn Loring 張晨臨）
Dear everyone,
Thank you all for a great time in Taiwan ; I really enjoyed my three weeks here.
The best time that I’ve had here is just about everything. We went to many different places, like plenty of different DIYs, and Qing Jing Farm. We also went to our great-grandparent’s house, and our great-uncle’s. At the beginning of this vacation, I thought, Oh, this trip is going to be worse than the last one. But now I know that I was wrong, because last time, we only came for fourteen days or so, and I barely remember what we did. If it were up to me, I’d say that this was the best vacation that I’ve ever had.
Again, thank you all for your hospitality, kindness, and generosity. I really appreciate all you’ve done for us. May the Lord keep us all in the Church Life so the next time we come back, we can see each other again.

親愛的諸位：
謝謝你們給了我美好的台灣之行，我非常享受這三週在這裏的時光。
這裏幾乎每件事都很棒。我們走訪了許多地方，包括許多自己動手作手工藝的地方並清境農場。我們還去了外曾祖父母和大舅公的家。在來台灣前，我心想這次回來恐怕比上次糟。但現在我知道，不，上回我只回來十四天左右，我也不記得我作了甚麼。要我來說，這是我有史以來最棒的假期。
再次謝謝你們對我們所有的款待。謝謝你們為我們所作的一切。願主保守我們都在召會生活裏，如此當我們下次再回來時，還能見到彼此。

Dear brothers and sisters: I’d like to thank you for a wonderful three weeks，I loved the time I had in Taiwan. My favorite time I had in Taiwan is when I go to the church here because I love the singing. My favorite fruit here were the mangoes. I like spending time with my friends and family. I really enjoy Taiwan ! I hope to see you all again soon.
